Trying out my new lens

I purchased a new lens and could not be happier with it. Tried it out this weekend and love the results. Can't wait to use it tomorrow. I will be taking pictures for my full time job for a promo coming up in May. It will be used in house but still very exciting. Also working on a kids book, possibly two, with one of my favorite people in the world who happens to be an amazing poet. Can't wait to see the end result.

Here is a picture of my little man with my new lens.

Thoughts of summer

I was looking through some of my photos from my vacation last summer. Yes, I was dreaming of warm weather and bright sunshine. These are my favorites. Enjoy!

Winter Portraits

Winter is not typically the time you think of having outdoor portraits done but beautiful pictures can be taken. Fresh white snow, kid's bundled up in cute snow suits and hats, maybe even pictures of them sledding.

Will post some examples soon.

Another shoot with my little man

Sunday was such a beautiful day I decided to take my little man outside to get some pictures. I have still been experimenting with my camera. Switching to digital has been great but there is so much to learn. Here are my favorites.

I also have my new website up. It is being updated frequently with more pictures as I have more sessions.

My little man

Played outside for a while yesterday with my little man. He can be happy, smiling, laughing but as soon as he sees my camera the face gets very serious. Got to love it.
