365 - Day Fifty Six
We decided to check out the fair tonight, it officially opens tomorrow. Little man tried out the sausage with peppers and onions.
This is Daddy and Nick looking out over the fairgrounds. I can't wait to go Friday when everything is up and running....

365 - Day Forty Nine
What a beautiful day today, the last official day of summer and it couldn't get any better.
I love this picture of Nick, you can tell he is tired of me taking his picture. I love it because he has his tool box and cookies, it looks like he is taking a break from work....
The fall colors are getting better every day....

365 - Day Thirty Six
Took a short walk through the woods tonight, it was very chilly. I have a love/hate relationship with autumn. I love what it is but I hate what it becomes. The leaves they are a changing... but are not quite there yet....

365 - Day Thirty Three
This is my very first SLR camera, received as a present on my 16th birthday. This is before digital and completely manual, focus and all. I love this camera and hopefully I will have it with me forever and ever even if it is not used for years. I am letting my niece borrow it for a photography class she is taking at her high school, she is 15 and it is her very first experience with a manual film camera. I really hope she enjoys it as much as I did.
My little man wanted to play with the camera but I feared he would break it before I got to hand it over to my niece. I mean it is very durable but he is three and that means he can break even the unbreakable. So, I remembered Mike still had his first digital camera, a whopping 1mp HP camera. I inserted some batteries and off he went taking pictures of our feet and midsections (really the last area I want him photographing). I will have to download them and see what he's got on there.
All this camera fun was going on while my man worked tirelessly on the wood cutting for winter.

365 - Day Thirty One
I have had a great day with my two boys today, they made me breakfast this morning for my birthday and then we went on an ATV ride and a walk through the woods. We headed for the swamp in our backyard and checked out the trees the beaver have taken down.
Here was a freshly eaten tree, wonder if we scared him off.
We decided to take a load of wood back with us....
Now out to dinner at a super yummy bbq joint, a pulled pork sandwich is calling my name. I plan on eating like a pig, no pun intended, ok so the pun was intended.

365 - Day Thirty
Wow, thirty days and have not missed a pic yet. I have been posting lots of flowers lately. I guess it's because I don't want summer to end and the flowers are few and far between in our gardens. I found a few more flowers blooming today and some still yet to come.

365 - Day Twenty Nine
Wondering if this is one of the plants making me feel miserable? It is everywhere and my allergies have been awful!
